“Lithuania – Russia. Everyday dialogue” Lithuanian and Russian history and culture are closely associated but different, although their relations and ratio are judged ambivalently. Main this project’s intention of is to strike up a cultural conservation between these two countries using unusual artistic forms and formats. A conversation between Lithuania and Russia builds through everyday life reflections, objectively recording signs, similarities and differences of everyday life in Russia and Lithuania by documenting and exploring people, public spaces and objects of Vilnius and Moscow. Can we find something Lithuanian in Russia? What Russian signs are visible in Lithuania? Russian high – school graduated in Vilnius are captured in their schools there marks of cultural dialogue between LT and RU are notable in their names and surnames proportions or even in interiors. A woman, sitting near her house in Litovskij (Lithuanian) boulevard, Moscow, starts a conversation with members of Russian community in Vilnius. Graffiti in Moscow streets, product labels and domestic electric appliances, found in Vilnius, displays encoded in everyday routine dialogue between Russia and Lithuania. This dialogue processes in various aspects and directions, documenting and gathering close to this project situations, objects and people portraits. Space for a dialogue is created using different photo, video, text and graphic formats.
